One-of-a-Kind Coastal Fiber Art | 68” × 16”
One of a kind and impossible to duplicate, Tidal Falls™ is an original piece of fiber art handcrafted with authentic weathered driftwood and shoreline treasures from the Caribbean island of Saint Martin. Once sold, it will never be remade.
At an impressive 68 inches long and approximately 16 inches wide, Tidal Falls™ is a true statement piece—created for that wall that deserves something extraordinary.
Layers of premium natural cotton cord cascade through multiple pieces of authentic weathered driftwood, giving the piece its beautiful sense of movement, almost as though the tide itself is tumbling from one level to the next.
Natural shells and beach-found treasures are woven throughout the design, including a wonderfully imperfect naturally holed hag stone suspended among the long flowing fibers. The irregular shapes of the driftwood, the intricate knotwork and the asymmetrical placement of the shoreline finds give Tidal Falls™ its wonderfully organic character.
Two tiny hanging gardens are nestled among the driftwood. Each holds one of our own handcrafted and engraved wooden Seacculents™ planters, made especially for By The Sea SXM. Both wooden planters are included with Tidal Falls™.
